Kassandra is the founder of Range Wellness Massage & Manual Osteopathy. She received her massage therapy diploma through Vicars School of Massage Therapy in 2022. Before massage therapy Kassandra graduated from NAIT with her 4th class power engineering and acquired her 500 hour yoga & meditation certificate through My Vinyasa Practice. Kassandra recently graduated from NAO with her manual osteopathy diploma.

When Kassandra is not at work you can see her around the community or in the back country. She is an avid mountain biker, rock climber, and yogi. She has recently taken the plunge into winter sports, learning to snowboard at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, and cross country skiing at the Nordic Centre.

Kassandra and her fiancé Jonathan fell in love with Nakusp back in 2020 on a camping trip where Jonathan proposed. They knew they would find their way back to the small town charm where they could lay down some roots and become apart of the growing community.

Born and raised in Sturgeon County, Alberta, Kassandra and Jonathan met while backpacking in Guatemala. Even with mutual friends from back home, it took 6000km for them to first meet. For five years Kassandra and Jonathan have spent their winters backpacking through Central and South America where they fell in love with surfing and the love for culture. From the Amazon Rain Forest to the Pacific Ocean and to the Andes Mountain Range, they always would find their way back home.

With a thorough assessment, Kassandra is able to assess the soft tissues of the body to cultivate a treatment plan that is unique to you. Kassandra uses a variety of Swedish and non Swedish massage techniques during the massage and incorporates her love for yoga through breath-work and stretching/strengthening programs. With the addition of manual osteopathy, Kassandra is able to treat chronic pain, offer wellness protocols, migraine/headache relief, and more.

Always wanting to learn and expand her therapeutic knowledge, Kassandra can be found lounging around at home or the local coffee shop adding to her growing skill set. She is excited to be apart of the growing community of Nakusp!

Growing up in a close knit family, Kassandra has roots tied in Alberta. While in Alberta she will be operating out of the community of Whitecourt offering her massage and manual osteopathy services. Here she will be able to see her family/friends, while offering services to her cliental.
